My hometown ******* in the german state of North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW) is a place that is difficult to describe. On the one hand, it’s a peaceful and quite okay looking place, but on the other, I often find it too noisy and rather ugly.

As a neurodiverse person, I experience this conflict every day. A situation that was manageable for me yesterday isn't necessarily manageable today, let alone tomorrow. For instance, I love rules and structure, yet I also often feel restricted by them, as if they were limiting my personality. This ambivalence has always been a part of my life. How I experience places is therefore a reflection of how I experience myself, and vice versa. A kind of versatile logbook for the future.

This place is like cold tea on a late summer evening

Neglected too long, given out of hand to let it cool

Never mind

Cold tea always tastes good

No, it has to taste good

Or would you get up now and make yourself a warm cup of tea?

Especially if you don't know what warm tea tastes like anymore
